It is configured in a file reslvcnf.net.sys. it is a good idea to also put
the backup DNS server in there as well. The file is self documenting in
where and how to format the ip address.

Subject: FTP transfers and DNS refrences

Hello all,

I have a (simple ?) question regarding the use of FTP on the HP3000.
We are using FTP to update our ( and others ) web-site(s) from jobs running
on our KS969.
( using good old COBOL to produce the html documents ........ )
Today we use the ip adress to link to the webserver(s) ( OPEN <ipadress> ).
My question is ; How do we configure our HP3000 to look to a DNS server so
that
we can use the domain names instead of the ipadresses ?

Thank you
