Thanks for the info,

It's probably the Control-Y trap, FINPAC has got it enabled. However this is not a
POSIX port. It is original MPE/V HP3000/III software from the late 70's. Now
running on an HP3000/969 (5.5 pp4) in CM, using Fortran 66/V . I have the source,
and I know that it is not doing any terminal IO, but it does respond to Control-Y

Does anyone know where I can get more info on the SR (5003435362) that Mark
mentioned below?

Thanks in advance,
