Me again .. More network switching fun.
I re-IPed the two LineJet printers we have without issue, then I
plugged them into the CVS switch and it has decided to server up new IP
addresses. They are on the same segment, but just different last octet
values.
I have checked the printers, but using Telnet to get to the Ethernet
Interface card and it does report that both BOOTP and RARP (reverse ARP)
are active.
I don't find a way of turning this off. You might notice from the
listing that I am adding below, the OPTIONS show that while BOOTP and
RARP are selected, the DHCP is not selected. Still I find nothing in
the commands that tell me how I might turn this off.
