DSCOPY also provides wildcard features in the fileset.
COPY provides wildcard features.
FCOPY could be used in a script to handle wildcard, and use FCODE options.
But I don't think FCOPY would handle opening PRIV files, unless your user
is privileged.
Not sure about COPY and PRIV files.
However, one could script up a use of STORE-to-disk and RESTORE.

What kind of things would DSCOPY do that couldn't be done with COPY or
FCOPY?
The only one that comes to mind is the ability to copy PRIV files via the
FCODE parameter.

Ok, it turns out full point-to-point services are not needed after all. The
project requires using the DSCOPY command, but only for local copies on the
box(for certain things where COPY or FCOPY won't do the job). So, two
work-arounds:
1) Get a "localized" version of DSCOPY without all the other services.
2) Create a UDC or command file to emulate DSCOPY behavior.
Does anyone have 1) or already done 2).
THANK YOU to folks who've already responded. I'm following up with the
recommended providers (included below in case anyone else needs them)
As always, this is STILL a great list. :-)
Thanx, Ric
