You could also try something like this 
 (not tested but the veprofile syntax should work)

I would do something like this:

 repeat

Currently we have a job that runs vesoft listuser command and dumps the
information to a file. We then filter out only the session name and
field that show the hours of the day the session can logon(see example
of file below). 
 
CAROL ;     10 AM- 3 PM
CAROLN ;    8 AM- 9 AM
CAROLO ;  11 AM- 8 PM
M06266 ;    11 AM- 2 PM
REGTEST ;12 PM- 3 PM
CNGUYEN ; 8 AM-10 AM

REG2 ;        5 AM- 6 AM
CNGUYEN ; 8 AM-10 AM
 
 
What we would like to do and the problem we are having is as follows: We
are trying to set a variable for the position for the session name (for
example positions 1-8 in the above file example we'll call it sess).
Then we want to set a variable for the end time (position 17 we'll call
it hour). Then set an if statement that in a loop that states if HPHOUR
> than hour then abort sess.
 
If anyone could help us with this I would be greatly appreciative.
