We currently have 13 remote sites which have a DTC 16/iX box which we
bridge over frame-relay. The remote sites connect into the cloud at 56k
(48k CIR) and our central site connects to the cloud at T-1 (1.008Mb CIR).

We've been running with this topology for several months now. So far, so
good. Takes about 5 minutes to download a DTC over the WAN, but we have
UPS on all the remote DTC's so once they're loaded the performance from
the user perspective has been indistinguishable from the LAN-connected
DTC-48's and 9600 baud stat muxes that they replaced.

We used to use OpenView but have "reverted" to host-based management. It
shouldn't matter to the bridge, in any case.
