Hi

We had few RC calls reported on similar issue (garbage characters
appearing in the bottom of the screen) and we have updated
the 5.5 PP4 communicator article to include the following note ...

------------------------- B.06.07 version ----------------------
COMPATIBILITY ISSUES
--------------------

Forms created with previous versions of FORMSPEC can be used with this
version without any modifications.

Forms created with this version of FORMSPEC can be used with existing
applications without any modifications.

Forms created with this version of FORMSPEC can be used with previous
versions of FORMSPEC. However, some extra characters may appear on the
Form Menu screen towards the bottom which should be ignored. It should
be noted that these extraneous characters appear only once, the first
time the Form Menu is invoked for the form and they do not affect the
functionality in any way.
--------------------------

Is your problem similar to the one described above?

regards
