I am currently writing an app that monitors changes to source code ...
So I am using AIFFILEGGET to get all the attributes of a file...
You can move (copy) files from one ldev to another via MPEX.
So if I know which ldev the file(s) started out on and don't match after,
say e.g., 3 days
then I know some joker has been monkeying with the files......
Ldev no isn't really a necessity but a "nice to have" .....
So, I opted for FLABELINFO's item 37 which gives me the ldev no...
Thanks to all who replied to my posting....
Brian.
