A little deeper search, however, turned up one obscure link that pointed me to a page of references, and lo-and-behold, there is an "NBspool for MPE" document with an HP part number! -- sure enough, a visit to http://docs.hp.com/mpeix/all/index.html had a pointer to http://docs.hp.com/mpeix/pdf/B3933-90002.pdf [...]47_6Aug200410:59: [log in to unmask] |

Some weeks ago there was a thread about sorting an MPEX 'fileset' by
modification date. That thread prompted me to consider adding the
'sorting' functionality to my 'listfx' command file. Working on my spare
time, I was finally able to incorporate that functionality.
While the command file itself was 'revamped' extensively, in order to
minimize the impact of the additional code, the only functional changes
are:
1. Capability of sorting output by creation, modification and access
dates.
2. The addition of the '$exec' parameter for selecting only CM and NM
executables.
3. Better handling of the '$pmcap' parameter. (Previous version would
'miss' some executables with 'pm' capability if they were being accessed by
the OS).
The 'sorting', similar to the date arithmetic, is 'handed off' to a
supporting command file. The involved command files are:
LISTFX - The main command file.
DTOFFSET - Command file for performing 'date arithmetic'.
DATESORT - Command file that performs the 'date' sort of the
qualifying "fileset".
and were recently posted on the 'jazz' server
<http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/scripts/index.html>. All three files
should be 'collocated' in the same MPE "group.account". Invoking the
LISTFX command file without any parameters displays its 'usage
information'.
