Wait a minute. Support for MPE on a- and n-class systems was *announced* at
HPWorld 2000 *two years ago*. I don't go in for conspiracy theories, but if
his preceding statement is also true:

then it appears George is saying that at that same HPW2K conference, where
CSY presented a talk on "HPe3000 - the Next 25 Years," they were actually
announcing the a- and n-class MPE systems *not* as part of a 25-year
roadmap, but as a prelude to the EOL/EOS announcement, "to make sure that
there would be hardware available ... through the next five years." !!!

What other conclusion are we to draw? Anyone else read this the same way?

George, if I'm goofing this all up, please straighten me out!
