HP's comprehensive transition training curriculum, designed specifically for
HP e3000 customers and partners, is a great success. Hundreds of customers
worldwide have signed up to take advantage of the training courseware, which
is available at: www.education.hp.com/curr-mpe-e3000.htm

The training is conveniently divided into three separate areas depending on
your interests and educational needs. The first area, "concepts and
facilities," provides an introduction to the transition process, planning
and strategy, concepts, and tools that are now available for your reference
and use.

The second area, the most popular, contains "fundamentals" courses for a
quick start on building your UNIX expertise, a series of HP-UX system
administration courses delivered from an MPE perspective, as well as the
basic UNIX foundation curriculum. These web-based courses are available at
no charge to all HP e3000 customers and partners via an e-coupon (see
below).

The third area, "in-depth," represents the minimum recommended HP-UX
curriculum as developed by HP's curriculum experts. These instructor-led
classroom courses are strongly recommended for customers who have chosen
HP-UX as their target transition platform, and will be transitioning their
MPE/iX applications over to HP-UX.

There's still time to take advantage of the HP e3000 transition training
curriculum. If you are an HP e3000 customer or partner, remember that the
UNIX courses in the "fundamentals" area (U3103aae through U3106aae and
U1646aee) are available at no charge only if you use your hp e3000
transition training e-coupon. You must indicate that you are using a coupon
when you register for each course to ensure that the course fee will be
waived. This valuable e-coupon was mailed to North American customers in
September. If you still haven't received your e-coupon, you can still
request one by sending an e-mail to: [log in to unmask]
