Hello List - A 2-part question: I'm attempting to help remotely, from NJ -
the system is in Ohio
CFA moved their HP3000 from NJ to Ohio, it's been set up but they want to
change the IP address to match the network there. Using NMMGR, were able to
make the change, save it and attempted to validate. Got warning messages:
Validation of netxport subsystem started
*** Validate warning ---> PATHNAME : NETXPORT.GLOBAL
NETWORK DIRECTORY CONFIGURED BUT NOT FOUND. (VALWARN 1100)
--> Validation of NETXPORT subsystem finished <--
and - they are using a DTC72, not sure how that's supposed to be attached to
the HP3000? Cables weren't marked before they dismantled everything -
there's also an 8-port MDP connected that they'll use for serial connections
to old band printers.
If anyone can assist (we only have support from 8:30-5pm) please call the
onsite Network Admin: Mike Lynn at 724-256-2034. He's not familiar with the
3000, but I'm trying to guide him thru NMMGR by phone.
Help! Thank you,
Connie
