I just got off the phone with VESOFT and the fix is in release 27 and is

available as I write this. This will be automatically sent out to anyone
who has
a maintenance contract with VESOFT. Nothing like the horse mouth to get
the
facts.

Anyone using MPEX and Security/3000 should beware of a small problem
with
versions up to 26N70813.
For whatever reason, the software doesn't recognise February 29th 2000.
It
aborts with a "DATEBUILD INVALID PARM" error.
This means that if you have Security/3000 installed and the date becomes

29th Feb 2000, no-one and no jobs can logon.
I believe this is being fixed with a new release.

Apart from this, the only other item that caused a problem (apart from
software expiring before year 2000) was with Powerhouse 7.29C8 and the
change to using the hardware clock but I already posted some information

about that recently.

Cheers,
John Dunlop
