And he is right. On the above web site you can get OpenLDAP server
and client parts to build (or use prebuilt) on MPE/iX, however, I've
not yet found time to play with OpenSSL (with or without LDAP) and
I wouldn't want to hold my breath until I find that spare time ;)

Feel free to pickup my OpenLDAP 2.0.7 diffs/sources for MPE and
roll them forward to the latest 2.0.xx or build with OpenSSL or
whatever. I don't claim ownership of that stuff! Each and every
new OpenSource contributor is highly welcome in the MPE arena.
