I seem to recall that the way the AIF's for MO work is by actually
mounting a selected disc platter at a regular MPE volume. Once this
is done, it can be used like any other drive. You should be able to
initialize it as a user volume, ;HOMEVS groups onto it, etc.
It ought to be very easy for someone with a license to the AIF:MO
stuff to provide a simple command line interface program to let
you mount and unmount disks at will. I don't know if this would
be a violation in some way of the AIF license. This command line
utility could be distributed as a contributed library program, etc.
At least this is the way I remember it. I could be wrong of course.
