We have very limited experience with quick screen via a telnet
access card. We have tested this configuration, but with an
HP terminal emulator (ms92 or Advancelink/windows) doing the
telnet. Quick works ok with version 7.09. Earlier versions would
likely have trouble. We have not tried vt emulation with quick as
we don't normally use it. Quick is supposed to work with vt, but
I don't know if telnet would affect it.

We have not used this configuration enough to know how performace
scales with increased numbers of sessions. It is my understanding
that the telnet access card communications to the host hp3000
just like the DTC serial sessions.

Our experience is with MPE/ix 4.0.

MPE 5.0 is supposed to provide outbound telnet immediately.
Inbound telnet directly to the hp3000 cpu is supposed to come
out later in the year - as I understand it. I'm sure HPers will
add to this.
