I know this subject came up before, but I cannot recall
the bottom line. I have the following quetions:

         1. How and when will dates past the year 1999
be handled by MPE (in the format returned by the CALENDAR =
                                     intrinsic or some substitute)?

         2. Or, will there be a new standard form for dates if the =
CALENDAR
             format is insufficient?

         3. I know there was some talk about using an ASCII YYYYMMDD =
                                       format as a standard. I also =
remember hearing something about a 32=20
bit integer of the same format. Has HP decided on anything =
(are you
             there HP?)?

             TIA
