Damian,
   Make sure that OKI printer supports PCL. also it is advisable adding it
the ROMAN-8 font.

   If it does not, 3k will not print. Full stop.

   Try putting a laserjet temporarily on its place, and see what is going
on.

   Jetdirect is not (should not) the problem.

   I've got a question about MPE network printing to a Jetdirect Card:

  I have a Jetdirect EX Plus 3 hooked up with an Okidata Microline 321 on
port 1 on the JD. I have had zero success getting this to print from the
HP3K. After doing some research through the archives of the listserv, I am
now wondering if this is even possible. Here's the setup:

1) I am happily printing to several HP4050 and 5M's on the network with no
problem.

2)  NPCONFIG looks like this:
# Okidata in Buisness Office hooked up to Jet Direct
660  (network_address = 192.168.2.52
      tcp_port_number = 9100
      setup_file = EMPTY.HPENV.SYS
      snmp_enabled = FALSE
      pjl_supported = FALSE
      jam_recovery = FALSE)

  I added the EMPTY setup file as well as explicitly telling in port 9100
as
a desperate act.

3) the printer prints fine through Novell (so the Jetdirect and printer
work)

4)  FILE XXX;dev=660
print npconfig.pub.sys, *XXX

  When I do a SHOWOUT SP I do not ever see anything sitting for 660.
*NOTHING* prints (and yes 660 is spooled) and no error messages to the
console arise. The job just disappears into no where land.

Any thoughts on whether this is possible? If it is, any ideas on what to
do
to troubleshoot this problem with not many clues to work with?
