Thanks!  Sure enough, there is a DBDRIVER.PUB.SYS.  Too bad Stan didn't
write it:  I'd know how to run it, because it would respond to "?" or "help"
with something more than ***Bad opcode***.  So I figured that with his
sample (which is running DBDRIVER.PUB.SIELER) I'd figure it out.  Alas, the
two commands I've managed to execute without ERROR are "?" (response="0")
and EXIT (TGFSF!).

So the <plug> stands, and so does the question...

For anyone willing to try this vs an indexed master, here's how to run
dbdriver...
