No, unfortunately this is standard "marketing speak" now.  If you look at
the complete Oxford English Dictionary (where they give the original source
of modern words) you'll find the marketing organizations of modern
technology companies quite well represented, with more than a few Hewlett-
Packard attributions (for example "verticalize" and "verticalization" as in
"we will verticalize the market for this product" if I recall correctly).

Anyone have access to a recent OED and want to look up "productize" for us?
