So, who is arranging SIGFRY's this year? I still remember last year when
we all arrived at Fry's and whom we bumped into on the way in! Perhaps
this year we should give some advance warning.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Subject: IPROF: New Fry's Electronics

Hi all,

In what's almost an IPROF tradition, a new Fry's Electronics
has opened this weekend ... you may want to visit it if
you love (or loathe) Fry's. They have some exhibits of
early California-originated technology (Apple I,
De Forest's vacuum tube, the <something> transmitter,
and a klystron)

It's a block from the old Sunnyvale Fry's. From Lawrence
Expressway (just "east" of Central Expressway), turn "north"
onto Arques. Fry's is at the first signal. (Santa Trinita?)
