In your npconfig file declaration for this particular printer/Intel box
combination, add the directive

snmp_enabled=false

If your Intel box has three ports, a serial and two parallel, then you also
need to include one of:

tcp_port_number= 2501     <-- serial
tcp_port_number= 3001     <-- parallel 1
tcp_port_number= 3002     <-- parallel 2
