Maybe I'm late to the party here, but yesterday afternoon I was looking at furnaces on the Sears website. I did not attempt any purchases at all, just looking to see if they carried them. This morning in my email I had an alert from Equifax (a credit monitoring company, you can have them alert you to any changes or inquiries) indicating Sears had contacted the credit agency, but I couldn't tell for what.

Has anyone else noticed something like this?
