Sad news indeed..... Ed#

In a message dated 2/10/2020 9:28:30 PM US Mountain Standard Time, [log in to unmask] writes:

I'll miss Charles. He had a major impact on my life, both professionally and personally.

Professionally, Allegro was privileged to work with him for many decades ... both in supporting
HP3000 users and SCRUG (the Southern California User Group).
The first user conference I went to ("away" from Cupertino) was SCRUG ... chaired by Charles.
The SCRUG conferences were always my favorite
... I still remember him (and Chuck Shimada and others) dressed in tuxedos at the major SCRUG
conference in Anaheim (Feb/Mar 1984), where Alfredo Rego, Steve Cooper, and I got super energized
by the idea of applying some new concepts to IMAGE and ADAGER.

Personally, Charles (as a gourmet and a magic enthusiast) introduced me to some wonderful
restaurants, and ... most of all .. to the Magic Castle, kindling an interest in magic which I've
carried forth to this day (and I'm now a magician member of the Magic Castle).

He is missed.
