Can someone please tell why I am unable to write files into a share
(another account) but I can read files from it. I am sure it is
something simple because I can read and write from the sample archive
share that comes configured with SAMBA. I am wondering if the problem
is because I am trying to write to another account on the system other
than a directory setup under /SAMBA/PUB.

I have a production account that has an ARCHIVE group in it. Access to
the account is ANY for all (R,W,....etc) and the same for the group
ARCHIVE.

In the smb.conf file I set up a share with the the following

PATH =  /PRODUCTION/ARCHIVE
Guest ok = yes
Guest only = yes
Write = yes

When I try to drag and drop a file into this share I get an access
denied message from NT.

(MPE 6.0 with PP2 on a 928/LX)

Thanks in advance.
