My favourite trick in this regard is doing a keyword search for an
intrinsic or other keyword that must live in the manual I am looking
for... For example VOPENTERM for the VPLUS manual, DBOPEN for the
TurboImage manual, etc etc.

PS: In the web version I tend to select the page with the list of
    manuals and then do a "Find" from the browsers "Edit" menu, as
    the title is "HP Data Entry and Forms Management System (VPLUS/V)"
