Recently I had the opportunity to try a product.  It's called VisionFS and
it used to be sold by SCO, but is now maintained by a company called
Tarantella.  It is basically Samba with some extra features.  I was fairly
impressed with the speed and ease of setup.  I had no trouble using it on a
HP-UX 10.2 box.  The price was pretty reasonable (two user was a couple of C
notes).  I have no financial interest, so no plug I guess.  For more info,
