And, minister of propaganda, to which faction do you belong? The snide
remarks faction? The cheap shot faction?

Honestly Tracy, I love your comments, they keep the list on an even keel.

On this issue, I think everyone involved needs to take a (insert name of
favorite relaxant/relaxation technique break) and perhaps think about their
posting for 15-20 minutes before sending it. Words have been written and
statements have been made all in the heat of, well, something. I sense
there is something deeper in all this to which I am not privy, thank God.
I believe the discussion is important, but let us be, shall we say, less
personal and more professional about it. Invective is usually a good way
to lose support and sully your point of view.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Subject: The Balkanization of Interex (Was: Alfredo Rego...)

This is way cool. An internecine political fight.

I propose that we divide ourselves into factions:

The User Faction.

The Consultant Faction.

The HP Faction

The Lurker Faction which has subfactions:

- The Recruiter Lurkers
- The DEC/VMS Lurkers
- The AS/400 Lurkers
- The HP-UX Lurkers

Then the candidates can run under the Open Platforms of one of the
factions, or the hidden agendas of one of the Lurker subfactions.
Realpolitik at it's finest.
