I sear I am not insane, which contridicts the careful analysis of several
professionals.

As I mentioned in the first post, I had a problem downloading several
files from jazz.external.hp.com using both lynx (2.3) on an HP-UX box
and Netscape. I do thank several folks for pointing out the [SHIFT]
[CLICK] feature of Netscape. During my trials preceeding my first post,
I had sent mail to whatever address was listed on jazz, asking if there
were a configuration problem.

Anyway, the day after my posting, I tried the download again (via lynx
and using the 'd' command as I had always done) and . . . it worked.

I suspect someone at HP received either my mail, or was lurking on this
list and corrected the problem. Anyway, my thanks.

Now is I could just figure out why remsh keeps reporting "Unknown host".
