I have this attached memory formula for new proposals. I did this because we
always under configured memory if we followed the HP 3000 Configuration
Guide. Bear in mind it is from a sales point of view, but memory is quite
inexpensive these days and does not add to your maintenance bill. Our
environment is in PH 4GL and we only feel comfortable with 6 MB per user.
For COBOL environment you can go down to 2 - 4 MB per user.
