Keep in mind that some of that ... perhaps a large portion ... is
directly attributable to Interex's pricing / discount policies.

In the "old days", a speaker got in free.  In recent years, that's changed
to "a tutorial presenter" gets in free.  I can add (and, with help, subtract),
so I switched to giving tutorials :)
