Hello Friends:
Careful readers on this issue will note that Bob Combs' statement
gives Interex a way to prevent reporting from future HP World
sessions. Designate it an NDA session, and then enforce it with the
press. When members break the NDA by reporting news outside the
session, there's no penalty. When the press breaks the NDA, our
credentials are withheld for future shows.
As a practical matter, no meeting of several hundred to 1,000 people
can be an NDA event.
Perhaps these meetings will become as devoid of content as the
Strategic Management Roundtable. At any rate, we're glad for our
friends in this market who can listen carefully, as well as read
closely.
