I have had very good experiences with ASKPLUS from Vitalsoft.  The product
works very much like Query, the HP basic database tool.  It is quicker and
more robust.  You can get a demo tape and use it for 30 days. Call
800-vitalsoft.  The thing I like best is that you do not have to link
files on logical keys if the database is setup with the link it will know
it.
