The IN Regional Users Group (INRUG) would like to announce our next General
meeting.
 
The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 2nd at the HP Offices in
Indianapolis, Indiana.
 
Lunch will be provided and the meeting begins with lunch and registration at
11:30 am, the presentations will begin around 1:00pm and last until 5:00pm.
 
Topics and speakers include:
 
Product and Strategy Update along with Future directions.
This will be presented by Cathy Fitzgerald.
Cathy is the new worldwide marketing manager
for the HP 3000 Commercial Systems Division (CSY).  Cathy
has been with HP since 1988 and was most recently channel
and market development manager for CSY as well as marketing
manager for HP's Direct Marketing Organization.  In her new
position, Cathy will be responsible for channel management,
product marketing, and market development for the HP 3000
family of systems.
 
The second presentation will be about Electronic Commerce and Security. The
will be presented by Rosemarie Chiovari - HP Product Manager, Networking.
Rosemarie Chiovari has over 15 years experience on the
HP 3000 at HP and nearly all with MPE networking products.
Rosemarie worked as a support engineer for 6 years on IBM
communication products and Network Services (NS/3000).  She
managed network consulting projects for major accounts and
then moved into product management for third party networking
products and HP MPE network products in the Information
Systems Division.  Currently, Rosemarie is the product
manager in Commercial Systems Division for MPE network
products including ARPA/Internet Services, NS, NOSs, IBM
Connectivity Services, World Wide Web Server and related
transports and links.
