I know I've missed the cut-off date by a few hours, but anyway, I'm willing to pass this on to Bruce's family.
I've never met Bruce in person, but we've exchanged the occasional mail for more than a decade. I've always viewed him with great respect. He would occasionally respond to my e-mails with a way for me to think by myself, many times outside-the-box, and find the solution. He did not so much give me a ready-made solution, but rather helped me help myself, which is way, way better. He has been an inspiration for me, in terms of how to deal with technical problems and, by extension, how to deal with any kind of problem.
Bruce, this community, and myself in particular, we miss you.
