Oh, oh, now it's time for one upmanship for the migration toolsets. Our
software product does all that (automated COBOL conversion) and runs in all
of those environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows, AS400) with Oracle, DB2, SQL
Server, Informix that but it also has an MPE-like spooler and batchjob
capability. We support flat files, message files and KSAM files. We also
have the appropriate MPE file and database conversion utilities and a VPlus
to Visual Basic and JAVA capability.

Moreover, with our migration partner Sector7 www.sector7.com we offer
end-to-end migration services.

We are actually machine converting systems/programs/applications written in
HP COBOL II/XL to open systems COBOL. Flat files are converted to Vision or
C-ISAM data files. IMAGE files can be converted to the customers chosen Open
Systems RDBMS - ORACLE, MS-SQL/Server, SUPRA, etc.

By simply using a commercial COBOL compiler and run-time such as AccuCobol
our clients can run the Unicon converted HP COBOL II/XL, which is converted
to native open systems COBOL source code, on HP/UX, Windows NT/2000, Unix
AIX, AS400, Linux, or Sun Solaris.

In addition, our converted open systems source code can be enhanced,
upgraded, modified, etc., and it is completely portable and scaleable. We
deliver the converted code in character based formats, Windows (GUI), or
with a fully Web enabled Internet Explorer browser interface.

Actually just a few minutes ago we demonstrated our Transport400 Migration
Toolset to the folks at IBM. This toolset will actually be licensed by
Sector7 www.sector7.com and it will be available in a short while. This
toolset will allow COBOL/IMAGE applications to be ported to the iSeries/DB2
environment with virtually no manual changes.

On the subject of education, IBM is offering a fast track iSeries
introduction class for MPE programmers August 5-8 in Rochester, Minnesota.
The price for this class is normally $900, however, we arranged a special
deal for only $450.
