Sorry Dude - Per ComputerWorld (Roughly the 2nd Week of February),
Microsoft's lawyers contacted Intel and demanded that all development
work on those features be placed "on the shelf".  It seems Microsoft
is spending the big $$$ to include those features in a future release
(Windows NT 4.0 ?) of their premier OS......
 
Microsoft did not want Intel to beat them to market with hardware
features they (MS) intended to write themselves.  The obvious
trade-off is speed, but by imbedding these features into the OS, every
machine running the said OS could then conceivably benefit from the
features, regardless of the hardware configurations.....
 
BOTTOM LINE: CRAPples are for kids in back rooms with rich parents.
PC's are for business people serious about being successfull!  You buy
a Mac Powerbook, and the local fire marshall will demand you get
registered with their office before you can use it!!  Not so with a
PC....
