Actually, I think that the following is the source of the Judaeo-Christian
first day/last day standard:

The Hebrews celebrate the last day of the week (Friday dusk to Saturday
dusk) as the Holy Day in order to commemorate the creation of the world in
six days followed by a day of rest.

Most Christians celebrate Sunday as the first day of the week as their Holy
Day since Christ was raised from the dead on Sunday.

I think that the Seventh Day Adventists follow the the Hebrew standard.

Am I right?
