Help! POSIX Security

I have installed SAMBA including moving the man files from
/SAMBA/PUB/docs to the appropriate directories in /usr/local/man. When I
type man smbd from MANAGER.SYS everything works as expected. When I try
the same thing logged on as MGR.SAMBA I get the following error - ts:
cannot execute: Permission denied. I can read the manual file using
more, so I think man must be having difficulty trying to run something
to format the page. Any help would be appreciated.
