O.K.  I've d**ked around all afternoon with various HP
modem cables trying to get the Remote Console to respond
AFTER answering on the required Control-Break.

I've tried the 40233A and the 30062-60022.  Apparently,
neither is the correct one on hand.

The modem answers and provides a prompt on both cables
as long as the Remote Console is disabled.

The modem with the 40233A does not answer at all when
the Remote Console is enabled.

The modem answers with the 30062-60022 when the Remote
Console is enabled but does not provide Console access
(or any other response) after the required control break.

Can anyone drop a hint?
