I don't see why not, except that, just as for ftp and telnet, one 3K has
to have the client or daemon, and the other has to have the server. I
was looking for native solutions or ports of known products, and since
this is a short term solution, preferred freeware (and am using
Telamon's remsh / rexec; thanks, guys, I even spelled it right this
time), but there are a few vendors of products. Since I was primarily
looking for a 'daemon' or service for NT (and got rshsvc from the NT
$erver Resource Kit), I would recommend you execute your own search, but
you should give WRQ a look. If security is a concern, or if you think
passwords are generally a good idea, look at REXEC instead. Let us know
how this works out for you.
