We have been running a small local network for a couple years now with no
real problems. We use NSVT for the terminal connections and FTP runs
between both of our 937s without a complaint.

We have recently added a router to the network for connection to our
relatively new parent company, now we have our first problem which is
probably simple for you well versed network people out there.

The people on the other side of the router cannot ping either of the 3000's,
and they couldn't ping any of the PC's on the network until they added a
gateway in the network configuration for each PC. My question: Is there a
similar configuration setting to do on the HP3000? We are on 5.5pp7. I can
ping the router from the HP's. The people on the other side of the router
are on AS400s and PCs.

I will admit that I haven't dug into this too much yet, so if the answer is
obvious, I apologise, but I just got back from vacation and I am looking for
the most expedient route to resolve this problem as there are a couple more
waiting for me.

TIA,
Bob
