Someone with a DEC background has asked me the question about HP terminal
emulators and block mode.  Apparently, some Digital VT compatible terminals
were equiped with a feature called the Locator Input model.  Here's a

was explained to me, this feature enabled the terminal when in block mode to
send mouse events to the host.  Apparently, some DEC terminal emulators
support this feature.  The person who told me this is wondering if any HP
terminal emulator supports anything like this.

I have long been under the impression that HP terminal emulators only allow
the mouse to be used alter data prior to pressing either the enter key, a
function key, the escape key or the break key.  That mouses cannot be used
to generate any additional events other than these I mentioned above.  Could
someone please comment on this?
