I addition to this list, Amisys has a list for Amisys specific questions.
There are also some excellent resource people working at Amisys. Additional
third party help is also available from the vendors of the 3rd party
software you will be working with. Resources for HP3000, MPE, Amisys and
HP3000 3rd party tools abound.

You have just entered an area of the IT world, that has always prided itself
on its straight forward approach. This is true of the hardware, software and
the people using it. Once you get past the "difference" between UNIX and MPE
you will find that MPE is rather simple. Many of the intricacies of UNIX do
not exist in MPE or are not necessary in MPE. This makes some aspects of
system management less grueling. Of course there will be features you will
miss.

Whatever the case you are here now. Welcome to the neighborhood. Best of
luck.

Let Peace be the maxim by which we act because we will Peace to become a
universal law.
