I need a conversion utility (either for the 3000 or Windows) that
translates the Windows ANSI character set to Roman8. It will be used
to convert non-English text to Roman8 for loading text fields in an
Image data base. The special accents, circumflexes, tildes, etc. which
appear over some non-English characters need to appear in the Image data
base and will in turn be shipped out to another system which expects all
text from the 3000 to be Roman8.

If you have such a utility and are at liberty to share it, reply here or
by e-mail. If you know of a commercial product that can be purchased for
a reasonable price, just send me the name of the product. If there is
something on the Interex BBS that might work, let me know.

Thanks,

Bob Peterson
