Good, that's correct. And, since this is an N class, you're using
the higher speed 10,000 RPM drives, correct?

Are you using TurboSTORE? Unfortunately, TS can not push the data through
even an unutilized channel fast enough. TS does not multiprocess enough
to keep a steady data flow and the DLT8000 is too fast for that. When it
gets into stop/start mode, performance can really suffer.

I'd like to recommend you try Backup+ from ORBiT. HP ran some head to
head performance tests between Backup+ and TurboSTORE and Backup+ beat
TurboSTORE on large systems every time.
