I'm sure Lars or Gavin will jump in here too, but if you are using the pure
Java JDBC drivers (Type 4) then they are the exact same drivers that you use
on the NT.  You just need to make sure the .jar file is in your classpath.
I am assuming here that you are trying to access data in the Oracle database
from MPE and not trying to provide access to Image data.  If the latter is
what you prefer, then you do have to download the MPE/iX drivers from Jazz.
