All this chatter prompts the statement, "Can't we just get along?" ;)

I perfectly well know that I shouldn't try to correct every piece of
misinformation that comes over the transom on HP3000-L, but Iraq had as
much to do
with the attack on the World Trade Center has Belgium did with the
attack on
Pearl Harbor.

The fact that you repeat this bit of nonsense suggests that you have
apparently far too readily accepted the "lies and garbage"* that this
administration
has steadily implied during the runup to the current war. When Dick
Cheney
attempted to imply this connection again a few weeks ago on a Sunday
morning talk
show, Bush was compelled to finally resolutely say the next day that
there was
no link between the WTC incident and Saddam's Iraq, but I'm not sure
that it
mattered all that much now, being said so late.

* the "lies and garbage" phrase is not mine, but rather Gen. Anthony
Zinni's,
who until very recently was Commandant of the Marine Corps. Most of what
he
has to say in unfortunately unprintable.
