The Model 10 has a bright amber service light that will stay
on after a drive has dropped out. The indicator is next to
the power indicator on the front panel. You will also get
a recurring console message.
Different mirrored arrangements have different indicators.
Software mirrored pairs (Mirror/iX) can be interrogated
by Mirvutil to determine status.
