I have to agree with Art. I would be interested the the reasons for
re-booting the 3000. We have a 957 and a 927lx that are booted about every
3 months for configuration changes (don't have 5.5 yet).
I have had to re-boot once in the past two years do to an O/S glich, but
never nightly (or weekly, monthly....).
What O/S version and patches are you running?
Are you running any third party stuff when the need to re-boot arises?
Let us know and maybe someone will see an answer.
